The Wildflower Way Weekend Festival is an annual celebration of sustainability, music, and community, held in the scenic town of Boone, NC. This project required branding that seamlessly integrated the festival’s environmental focus with its eclectic musical lineup, creating a visual identity that resonated with its diverse audience.
Creative Process & Concept Development
The festival's mission to promote sustainability and local culture was the foundation of the design process. I aimed to capture the spirit of Wildflower Way through a vivid, nature-inspired color palette and organic design elements that reflect it's outdoor setting and eco-conscious ethos.
Drawing inspiration from Boone's sunsets, the Blue Ridge Mountains lanscape, North Carolina's state flower, dogwood; and the festival’s energetic atmosphere — the branding showcases warm oranges, deep blues, and earth tones, evoking the connection between nature and music. The typography was designed to feel both bold and approachable, giving the festival a welcoming, grassroots vibe.
